Are you working hard enough?

Are you working hard enough in the gym? Only you can answer that.

If your goal is to just get movement in then this might not apply to you.

But for those of you who want to see improvements in strength and lean muscle mass (which gives you the "toned" look) you might need to work harder.

Things to keep in mind:

  1. Can you finish every rep and set easily?

  2. Are you getting to a point that you are struggling to finish?

  3. Are you feeling like you need to tense up, hold breath or make faces?

Ok, #3 is not scientific but you get the idea. If you truly want to change your body composition, get stronger or build muscle you need to push yourself close to failure.

You can do hard things!

2 things I would prioritize now!

You hear it all the time... but how many of us know how much you are actually consuming? PROTEIN Consuming protein has numerous benefits...

Stop blaming hormones.

I hear so often once I hit peri/menopause or I hit 40 I just gained weight. While hormones may present challenges it's not down hill...
