You hear it all the time... but how many of us know how much you are actually consuming?
PROTEIN
Consuming protein has numerous benefits including building and repairing muscle, aids in hormone regulation and helps satiation just to name a few. *Aim for around 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
WATER
Water is essential to your body. Water lubricates joints, improves skin health, helps regulate body temperature and the digestive system depends on it. *Shoot for a minimum of half your body weight in ounces; More if you are active or in warm climates.
*General recommendations to have a start target. Start by tracking what you currently consume for a few days and slowly build up from there.
